Overview of the Gradebook

The Gradebook has four primary functions.

• Viewing, analyzing, or reporting scores and statistics for students, assignments, and question items

• Reviewing student results for specific graded sessions

• Exporting grades to a third party gradebook file

• Administrative tasks, for example, changing passwords, managing rosters, and sending messages to students

Viewing Scores and Generating Reports

For assignments requiring students to login, to complete and grade their work, the system automatically stores the session scores in the Gradebook. The Gradebook stores a variety of information for each student, such as the assignment start time, the time spent on the assignment, and the individual assignment question performance.   

Use the Gradebook to create reports organized by student, by assignment, or by question item. View the reports online or download them to use offline in programs like Microsoft Excel.
