The Class Name is the displayed name for a class. It appears on the class home page and in other system administrator lists, but is not usually the actual class home page URL. The Class Name is created at the time of initial registration by the instructor or the system administrator. You can also rename classes.
A class name must have between 5 and 50 characters. It cannot contain the characters <, >, or &.
The system ensures that class names are unique. If you or an instructor select a name that exists, the system requests that you select another name.
Clicking the Class Name link opens the Instructor Main Menu in the related class.
First name, optional middle initial, and last name of the class instructor. This required information is provided at the time of initial class registration and setup. You cannot edit the instructor name information through the System Administrator Class Manager. It must be provided at the time of initial course setup.

It must be provided at the time of initial course setup. If the instructor email address is not provided, you must use the system internal messaging to communicate electronically with the instructor. If an email address is provided, you can click the Email link to launch an email window and send an Internet email message using your outgoing mail (SMTP) server.
Each class is issued its own home page by the system. The Class Homepage URL is selected by the instructor or system administrator at the time of initial class registration. You cannot change the Class Homepage URL using the Class Manager.
Class home page URLs must be valid Web addresses.
You can use between 5 and 16 characters, but only a though z, A through Z, and 0 through 9 are allowed.
Clicking the Homepage URL opens the Class Home Page for the related class.
